The Greater Augusta Regional Chamber of Commerce is pleased to present the 2010 Marketing Opportunities Handbook.  This handbook outlines the many sponsorships and marketing avenues available to promote and advertise your business.

Incorporating the Mission of the Chamber…. to work together to enhance quality of life by promoting the viability of business, commerce and industry in the Greater Augusta region of the Shenandoah Valley, The Greater Augusta Regional Chamber of Commerce continually strives to earn the support of our members and to make the Chamber a viable investment.

ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT

The annual golf tournament is a day of networking, fun and companionship.  From mid-morning until dusk, golfers can count on their every golfing need being met. Sponsorships for this event help to offset the cost for club rental, and all the amenities associated with a golf tournament, including lunch and the awards dinner.

ACADEMIC ACHIEVERS RECEPTION
May, 2010

The Academic Achievers Reception is an annual event to honor outstanding academic young people from the 13 area public and private high schools (3 from each school).  This event has become a very important program of the chamber.  The 39 students are honored at a reception which is attended by their parents, school administrators and local dignitaries. Sponsorships enable the Chamber to increase the number of scholarships given and to help underwrite the cost of the banquet.

The Greater Augusta Regional Chamber of Commerce Annual Daylily & Wine Festival™ is an annual event providing the community a day of fun and relaxation. This two-day event incorporates the Mission of the Chamber…”to work together to enhance the quality of life by promoting the viability of business, commerce and industry in the Greater Augusta Region of the Shenandoah Valley”.

Sponsorship for this event helps to underwrite the enormous cost associated with orchestrating a festival of this magnitude and offers the sponsor a great opportunity to promote their company to over 4,000 people.

The Legislative Breakfast is held annually prior to the opening of the Virginia Legislature. This event gives attendees the opportunity to hear remarks from all the elected officials of the area on topics that will be coming forward in the new year.  The breakfast also provides an avenue for attendees to ask questions and make comments regarding issues that are pertinent to our locality.

Privilege Card Advertising puts your company in front of all Chamber members and their employees for one entire year. The Chamber prints 40,000 cards, and you can choose to be a major sponsor or a front or back cover sponsor.

If you want to advertise quickly for a special promotion, then the Broadcast E-Mail is the way to go.  This is a marketing tool which is designed to help with any time-sensitive program.

Chamber Envelope Advertising

Chamber envelope advertising is a great way to gain exposure for your company’s products and services. This is a quarterly advertising promotion which enables the company to be the sole advertiser on the back of 4,000 10” x 13” Chamber envelopes.

Relocation Packet Advertising

Relocation packet advertising is a fantastic way to reach prospective new residents. The Chamber mails, on an average, 60 packets monthly.  Let the Chamber help you with your marketing! All you do is supply us with your brochures at the end of each month, and they will be inserted into the packets for the coming month.

Monday Morning Memo Advertising

The Monday Morning Memo is an excellent advertising tool to reach over 1600 business people. Your company logo will be featured at the beginning of the memo.  This advertising offers a wonderful referral avenue for your business.

Website Advertising

The Chamber Website page is another fantastic source for referral business, as the website averages 15,000 visits a month.  Your logo will be featured on the website with a direct link to your website. This advertising affords you the opportunity to reach, not only members, but many other interested parties.

Promo Pak Advertising

Showcase your business monthly by participating in the promo pak advertising.  Submit to the chamber office, 1,300 brochures, by the 15th of each month, and we will have them included into our monthly pak that goes to all members.  The Promo Pak is a very affordable and practical way to promote your company.

Mailing Labels/Information on Disk

Although, as a member, you are furnished a hard copy of the membership, many times you will have an immediate need for mailing labels. The Chamber can respond to your request instantly and provide either the labels or a disk.

Business At Breakfast Sponsor

Business At Breakfast is a great avenue to spotlight your business.  As the sponsor, you will be given 3 minutes at the beginning of the breakfast to make a presentation about your company and your services and handout advertising materials to all attendees.

Member Orientation

On the last Tuesday of every other month, a member orientation is held to acquaint members with the functions and operations of the Chamber. This meeting is an early meeting (8:00 a.m.) lasting approximately 1 hour.  This meeting is an excellent opportunity to showcase your company in front of a captive audience. As a sponsor for this meeting, you will be given three minutes to make a presentation about your company, as well as handing out promotional materials to all attendees.

Website Calendar of Events Sponsor

Be the sponsor for the Chamber Website Calendar of Events. We will feature your name and logo, with a direct link to your website, at the top of the Calendar of Events for all of 2008. The chamber website is averaging 6000 visits a month, and this advertising is an excellent way to promote your business, not only to members, but many other interested parties.
