CPR & First Aid Training
First Tuesday of every month: 5/13 (2nd Tuesday), 6/3, 7/1, 8/5, 9/2, 10/7, 11/4, 12/2

Instructor: Jenni Critzer
Through the American Heart Association Heartsaver Program, participants will learn to recognize and care for injuries or sudden illnesses until advanced medical help can take over. Handle
emergency situations, breathing and cardiac emergencies; adult, child and infant CPR; basic precautions for preventing disease transmission; identifying and caring for life-threatening bleeding;
sudden illness and injuries and environmental emergencies. This course meets OSHA Guidelines for CPR and First Aid. Participants will receive a certification card good

Business Writing for Beginners

The principle for sound business writing is logic. It should be clear, concise, and when fitting, persuasive. Letter-writing organization, memos, reports, meeting minutes, proposals, and good, “bad
news” letters are some topics to be covered. Traditional memos vs. electronic mail memos: why they are written differently will be discussed. Participants are encouraged to bring their own business writing samples.

This series leads you from business idea to business plan in 5 easy stages while you learn from experienced entrepreneurs and local professionals.
